Hi, I'm Adrian, founder of Pinnacle Financial.
I know you're here to read the story of Adrian so lets begin like most autobiographies.
I was born on a warm spring morning in the beautiful city of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. But I don't think you're here to read the play-by play of my life so, let's get down to what matters, especially for someone in search of financial advice and wealth guidance.
By all accounts, my enthusiasm for collecting and trading sports cards in my youth kick started my fascination with the world of money, markets and investments. This fascination was compounded further with growing interests in global history, political affairs and economics through my formative years growing up in Edmonton. But I think my life's direction was finally sealed when, as a boy in my late elementary school years, my parents enrolled my brother and me in a weekend introductory investing course at a local office of a multinational investment management company.
Fast forward to 2003, when I graduated from the University of Alberta, with Distinction with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree, having studied international finance, economics, history and business law along the way.
After taking some time to travel in 2004, I soon began my career in the fast paced business of banking, my experiences taking me from the front lines of a branch teller line to private desks advising clients with net worth ranging from below zero to tens of millions of dollars.
But 2004 also thrust me into dealing with the passing of my father, leaving my brother and me to help our mother get financially organized and educated. Ever since, I have always looked for opportunities to do very much the same for all of my clients, treating their financial portfolios no differently than those of my family. It's why you will regularly hear me refer to my clients and supporters as my extended financial family.
Along my professional journey, I have empowered myself with further education and credentials to ensure the best advice and service provided to my extended financial family, including the Fellow of CSI (FSCI) designation, the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation, as well as the Certified Estate Advisor (CEA) designation.
As for the licensing front, I'm currently licensed to provide Life and Accident & Sickness Insurance advice and products in Alberta. On the flip financial side, I'm also licensed as a Registered Representative through the aptly named IIROC (pronounced IIROC, which stands for Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada) to provide investment advice in Alberta. But the fun doesn't stop there. I have also added a license to deal with and advise in options, adding another layer of investment opportunity for my extended financial family.
Last but certainly not least, while I work for my extended financial family, I live for my family of four. I love spending time with my wife, daughter and son, either at home or on adventures near and far. With any little spare time remaining, I am either slicing up a golf course or immersing myself in a thought-provoking book or movie.
If that's not enough of an introduction about myself, there are many ways to find out more.
Together to the pinnacle,
